Having worked at Kimbrough Animal Hospital for more than 10 years, Sarah knows well how to keep the hospital’s daily operations running smoothly.  With her strong work ethic and mild-tempered demeanor, Sarah responsibly manages the hospital’s team members, inventory, billing and accounting practices, and assists the doctors in surgery.

Sarah has her bachelor’s degree in animal science and is also certified in laser therapy and as a veterinary assistant. She enjoys being part of the team at Kimbrough Animal Hospital. “The people that I work with are very team oriented. Their main concern is the health and welfare of every animal that comes in and the environment is very pleasant,” she said.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and being outside.  She shares her home with her golden retriever, Pumpkin, her bichon frise, Lilliana, and her Yorkshire terrier, Delilah.

Holly has worked at Kimbrough Animal Hospital since September of 1999 and enjoys working with clients and assisting Dr. Kimbrough during surgical procedures. She is certified in laser therapy.

At home, Holly spends time with her three dogs, Tubby, Sadie and Sweetie, and her one cat, Meow. She likes to be with her family, and enjoys taking her daughter to her extracurricular activities. She also enjoys fishing and hunting.

Because of her amiable and professional personality, Amber is a great part of our hospital staff. Her job responsibilities include assisting Dr. Kimbrough in the examination rooms and in surgery, running diagnostic tests on pets, caring for our hospitalized pets and maintaining accurate chart records. "I love taking care of our sick patients and watching them get well again," she said. Amber is certified in laser therapy and is presently earning her associate's degree.

During high school, Amber worked as a kennel assistant and later as a veterinary technician at a local hospital. She began working at Kimbrough Animal Hospital in January of 2008 and loves it. "The environment here is very friendly and laid back yet professional and productive," she said. "I love coming to work every day and the staff is literally like my second family. I love our patients and feel great about the services that we provide to our clients."

At home, Amber spends time wither her three dogs, and her cat. Her main focus is on raising her young son and working on her associate's degree.

Caring for hospitalized patients is what Megan enjoys most about her position as a veterinary technician with Kimbrough Animal Hospital. Her duties include assisting during exams and surgeries, dental cleaning, drawing blood, laboratory tests, and helping out as a receptionist when needed. Megan is certified in laser therapy and nutrition and is working towards becoming a registered veterinary technician. Before joining the hospital in September 2012, she spent a few years working as a kennel/receptionist and technician at other veterinary clinics.

"We are a family here and all work together," she said. "Dr. Kimbrough is a great vet and boss to work for."

Outside of work, Megan likes camping, crafts, reading, and biking. She has four cats: Paisley, George, Binx, and Crookshanks.

Cheerful and compassionate, Loren joined the Kimbrough Animal Hospital in July 2013. As a veterinary technician, her responsibilities include laboratory work and assisting the veterinarians during exams and surgeries. She is passionate about keeping pets healthy and enjoys educating the hospital's clients. Loren is certified in laser therapy, nutrition, reception, and as a veterinary assistant. She is currently finishing up school to become a registered veterinary technician.

"I love the compassion everyone has here," she said. "It's like family and we all have the same goal of keeping pets at their best and educating owners. I was welcomed with open arms by everyone and I am so blessed to be here!"

At home, Loren cares for her Great Dane, Gracie. In her free time, she enjoys bike riding, 5Ks, exercising, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Receptionist Christie joined our team in May, 2014 with over ten years of experience in the animal care field. Her responsibilities include greeting clients, answering phones, and scheduling appointments. She holds a Bachelor's of Science in Animal Science from Texas A&M.

"The staff at Kimbrough Animal Hospital is great to work with," says Christie, "and I really enjoy interacting with our clients and their pets."

Christie has five cats, four dogs, three horses, and a donkey. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her husband and their two children.

Receptionist Brittany Rambo brings her upbeat attitude and caring nature to the team at Kimbrough Animal Hospital. With us since 2015, her responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling appointments, and checking clients in and out.

"I love the people I work with and meeting all the new animals," says Brittany. "My coworkers are incredible. They are my second family and friends."

Brittany has two cats, Espn and Figaro, and a Shar Pei mix named Vada. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her daughters and pets, reading, sewing, and quilting.

Having worked here at Kimbrough Animal Hospital for 20 years, Sheryl has a special way of handling animals and clients know that their pets will be well-treated in her care. As the kennel manager, Sheryl’s responsibilities include taking care of the animals, bathing them, developing the part-time work schedule and overseeing the general operations of the kennel.

“I believe Dr. Kimbrough is one of the very best veterinarians and he is a great boss; we work well together,” she said. “Dr. Kimbrough really believes in what he is doing.”

Outside of the hospital, Sheryl enjoys four-wheeling, hunting, working outside and camping. She also stays busy with her six dogs and two cats.

A great attitude, an understanding of the value of teamwork, and patience are three important attributes that Rebecca brings to her role as Animal Care Specialist at Kimbrough Animal Hospital. With us since 2012, her responsibilities include feeding and exercising pets, keeping the kennels clean, and assisting the technicians and administering medication when needed.

Outside work, Rebecca enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking care of her pets (Ruger, a yellow Labrador, and Buddy, a Chihuahua), and watching a good movie.
